About Isabella
Born in Venezuela, Isabella Mendez discovered at a young age her passion for fashion. Isabella and her family moved to the U.S in 2014 and the opportunity of a lifetime became real: pursuing her dream career.
With a B.F.A in Fashion Design studying in SCAD, Isabella learned the techniques necessary to succeed in the industry. She discovered her passion to design activewear and decided to focus her studies in this field.
After Junior year, Isabella was able to intern at Kohl’s Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Joining the women’s active team, she learned about the field of activewear, fell in love with the product and she captured what it takes to be an assistant designer.
Her dream is to design jersey kits for the world cup at some point in her career. Going back to Kohl’s in 2019, Isabella’s short term goal is to learn as much as she can about this industry, the business and become a better designer step by step.
